The Royal Cheshire County Show welcomes visits from schools from across the County and beyond.
A visit to the show can provide a tremendous learning opportunity in an interesting and often interactive way.
In addition to seeing livestock, poultry, horses and learning about the rural way of life, including traditional country crafts and past times, the show enables young people to understand the journey and economics of food from ‘Plough to Plate’. The Sainsbury’s Agri-Centre is designed to educate visitors on how our food is produced and takes you on a journey from producer to retailer.
The ‘Schools Out’ marquee has a vibrant atmosphere created by the many schools that attend and presents a show case of a wide variety of projects with which their school is involved.
