The Royal Cheshire County Show is delighted to announce that entries are now open for the Light Horse competition classes ahead of this year’s Show on the 21st and 22nd June 2022. Show organisers are pleased to confirm that the Show is back and better than ever this year with a full schedule of classes returning for 2022.
Christine Newton, Chairman of the Light Horse section, comments, “Firstly, we would like to thank everyone for taking the time to come and show with us last year. Despite the difficulties and numerous restrictions, we all faced, it was wonderful to be able to have a show, and to meet with friends and fellow competitors. It is with great pleasure I confirm that we are back this year in our usual format with a full schedule of classes and many HOYs qualifiers. We very much look forward to seeing you all.”
Competitors are urged to consult the Show website for details of some changes which are taking place this year, including the addition of six new Senior Showing classes, all of which are qualifiers for the RIHS. Competitors are also advised to ensure they have the correct Breed Society membership in place for the classes they intend to enter.
Online entries are available for all classes and advice is to take advantage of this facility and file your entries early. If you require any assistance, contact Angela Yeoman on 01565 650200 during office hours 9am-5pm Monday to Friday. Please note: Closing date is strictly 22 April 2022.
A welcome letter, full schedule and information on judges can be found on the Royal Cheshire County Show website.
