The Royal Cheshire County Show is proud to host one of the largest Premier Open Dog Shows in the region, with over 600 classes and more than 100 different breeds on display.

We are very excited to announce that the dog section has been nominated for the prestigious award of Best Open Show at the Pawscars 2020. The Pawscars are a charity event for the ‘Peek-a-Boo Trust’ celebrating all that is good in the world of dog showing. The competition is a public vote so if you would like to vote for our show please by following the link below,
For 2020 Judging of Working, Pastoral, Toys and Utility Groups is Scheduled for Tuesday 16th June. With the judging of Hounds, Gundogs and Terriers on Wednesday 17th culminating that afternoon with all Best in Group Winners competing for the coveted title of Best in Show.
For the first time we will be holding 2 new competition firstly a Reserve Best of Breed Stakes class which will be free to enter both days of the show to all dogs award Reserve Best of Breed that day.
Secondly we are hosting a heat of the Prestigious Kennel Club Junior Warrent Competition. The qualifiers from the competition at Royal Cheshire Shows Open Show which takes place after Best in Show on Wednesday 17th June will get the chance to go to the Semi Final held at Discover Dogs at the ExCel Arena in London with the Final being held at Crufts 2021.
There will again be a Companion Dog Show held on both days of the show starting at midday.
Entries will be open on the day so why not bring along your best friend and enter the show?
