The Tabley Eye
Visitors to the 2010 show may recall that the feature ride at the show was a giant ferris wheel, which quickly gained the nick name of the Tabley Eye! Following its tremendous popularity at that time, we have had regular requests enquiring when the ‘Eye’ will return!
Well the wait is over, as we are pleased to announce the return of the Tabley Eye as the feature ride at The Royal Cheshire County Show 2017.
Rising to an incredible 35m high, this mammoth structure takes 10 skilled staff, a 60 tonne crane and 2 days to assemble.
The Tabley Eye offers a gentle ride with brilliant views across the showground and should definitely be on the ‘to do list’ of the many of the thousands of visitor to the show, as it really is another one of the many things at the show that is just ‘too good to miss’!
Located near…never mind, wherever you are on the show ground you will see the ‘Tabley Eye’.
